A Pinnacle Stage for Musical Dreams! The 8th Liszt Ferenc International Competition (Budapest, Hungary) Grand Final will kick off enthusiastically from August 2nd to 3rd, 2025, at the Old Liszt Academy (Old Academy of Music)!

The competition gathers outstanding young musicians from around the globe, who will engage in a splendid musical showdown with piano, string, and wind instrument performances . This event boasts a stellar jury panel featuring heavyweights: Dr. Dávid Báll, Dr. Ádám Banda, Mrs. Kornelia Gulyas, Dr. Judit Szabó, Dr. Katalin Falvai, Dr. Bence Asztalos, Mrs. Zhang Yu Carolyn, Dr. Miranda Liu, and Ms. Dominika Ács. We would like to express our deep gratitude to all the judges for taking time out of their busy schedules to serve as adjudicators! Each jury member is a professional musician from different regions, bringing profound musical insights and discerning ears to evaluate performances and provide expert guidance .

A special shout-out goes to Dr. Miranda Liu for sponsoring the “MiraTone Special Award ”! The jury will select one pianist and one string instrumentalist from the grand finalists. The winning young musicians will receive a full scholarship to participate in the MiraTone Music Festival, embarking on a brand-new musical exploration journey .
